Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, has recognised EKKI Water Technology Group’s Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd for its ‘dedication to quality and fantastic affiliation with BIS for more than 25 years’.
The household business was founded in 1981 by P Arumugam along along with his uncle KK Veluchamy and pal MS Sundaram, producing pumps under the Deccan model. This was adopted by the creation of EKKI which acquired Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd in 2013.
