In these modern times in which we live in, it is very common to confuse reality with thought, facts with theory, and health with confirmation. Here we are, in the era of abundance, having everything we can ever imagine at the grasp of our finger tips, computer science has sky-rocketed allowing us usage of endless levels of information, anytime tretinoin gel, any time. I mark ?food? with the quote unquote to signify my feeling of the topic, that aren’t to be mistaken. The majority of what we find in grocery stores today is merely not food. Today?s norm would be to grab a snack, or drive through some burger joint to stuff our bellies so we can get on with work, therefore gradually, from the dawn of the industrial age, these products have come to replace what nature has given us, and what life itself is founded on, as food.
Real food, that is basically fruit and veggies, nutrition wise at the very least (as many would argue on the taste factor), may be the foundation of any healthy diet, not because it is so important and healthy to eat a well balanced diet with vegetables inside it, but simply because it is food. The rest is not food. It might be hard to grasp in the beginning, peeping through the tiny crack that all folks have inside our definitions of what food is, and seeing the truth behind the screen of illusion.
Health, true health, can’t be achieved and maintained in any other way. But what’s health? I dare you! Try and define it for yourselves. Go ahead, have a minute, even 5, and really try and write down a definition you’ll feel relaxed with for the vague and illusive idea of health.
The Chinese have said that ?health is a state of being in the tao?. Walking your path, realizing yourself and allowing your true colors to show. It begins with the air we breath, the thoughts we think, and it leans mainly and strongly on the building materials we feed ourselves with. Regularly eating a well balanced vegetables nutrition based diet is similar to putting the foundations so necessary for mental balance, a good physical feeling, happiness and wellbeing ? the foundations so necessary for?. Health. ?Let us be about setting high standards for life, love, creativity, and wisdom. If our expectations in these areas are low, we are not likely to experience wellness. Wellness and health play an enormous and important part in my own life, my actions, my thoughts, and my schedule. I am presently leading twelve fitness classes weekly that change from step aerobics, balance and core focus on the large stability ball, weight lifting, modified yoga and several classes that concentrate on functionality.
